  • CAS decision on City places more pressure on Arsenal. Need to come seventh for Europa League now. So basically have to beat Liverpool or get past City to reach cup final with chance of qualifying #UpHill

  • Really good news. Grassroots sport is back! Cricket today, hopefully football soon. The outdoor pools should open this week and indoor pools and gyms later this month. #SportForAll

  • @DarrenArsenal1 Yes. They should have explained this. AST have asked club to provide more explanation.

  • @arseblog That’s KSE UK Inc. We do not know how that is serviced. But so far Arsenal’s accounts show costs not borne by club. Of course if the KSE UK loans default the asset the banks have a hold over is Arsenal itself. £700m is a lot of debt.

  • @DarrenArsenal1 There was a reason the club was taken private and the parent company listed in Delaware.

  • @arseblog To reiterate your point about this not occurring but for COVID. For years club said no way when AST suggested paying off debt as penalties far to high (about £40m). So it really is a crisis response to kick can down the road

  • RT @AST_arsenal: Of most interest to all Arsenal fans is will the club now be servicing the full costs of the KSE UK Inc loan from the market, which is now likely to be close to £700m, or will it only be responsible for the near £200m costs of the bond repayments? /11

  • RT @AST_arsenal: AST reiterates that this change does not see KSE investing INTO Arsenal. It is a financial arrangement to restructure the debt and is likely to assist the club in the short term as it grapples with Covid-19 crisis, but it does place more debt onto the club for yrs to come /8
