For the record, I would have voted Baylor #1. But Gonzaga dropping out of the No. 1 spot after winning games by 50 and 23 points is just so 2019-20 college basketball. Next thing you are going to tell me is Rutgers is in the top 25. 🤷♂️
@AP As I've explained many times, I have no issue with Baylor being No. 1 even though I have Gonzaga No. 1. But, that said, I can't imagine a No. 1 team has ever dropped in the AP poll after a week in which it went undefeated with the wins coming by an average of 36.5 points.
Preseason Top 10 was: 1. Michigan State 2. Kentucky 3. Kansas 4. Duke 5. Louisville 6. Florida 7. Maryland 8. Gonzaga 9. N. Carolina 10. Villanova Some stuff has happened
🚨 NEW AP POLL 🚨 Baylor is the new No. 1! 👀 1. Baylor 2. Gonzaga 3. Kansas 4. San Diego State 5. Florida State 6. Louisville 7. Dayton 8. Duke 9. Villanova 10. Seton Hall
Barbee says Calipari is a man-defense coach “because he likes the accountability of it,” but they consistently work on zone as a “break glass in case of emergency” option. Says Cal isn’t opposed to using it when man just won’t work.
Well that’s outrageous.
Talked about this on the pod, but it deserves more mention: Markus Howard scored 77 points in two games this week. He's averaging 35.8 ppg the last two weeks. The last time he didn't score at least 26 points was 12/7. He's shooting 43% on 9.8 3PAs. Insane. https://t.co/sb8uK0e4rq

Here’s the thing about the NBA: So many absolute freaks go through that league, you’d get way down the list before anyone was like, “Jason Richardson was insane!” But my goodness, he was insane.
