Wow. The chance to show live events or show a USA - Australia soccer match that was yesterday? Seems like an easy choice, but sounds like they didn't get the memo.
I began experiencing sports anxiety at 16. I spent years refusing to acknowledge what was going on. That's what I thought athletes did. It would have meant so much back then to hear one of the world's top athletes say it's okay to prioritize your mental health.
RT @ChrisRifer: Looks like this is done. Interesting signing. Well regarded at América de Cali and has started to produce fairly well. But the Timbers have had a bit of an adventure signing this profile of player and Colombia has been a real wild-card shopping ground for MLS teams. #RCTID https://t.co/nkxEnHHnTI
RT @Coo_ray: 2) Your friend from high school “who has done all the research and knows the truth about vaccines”, hasn’t and doesn’t. I have 2 degrees and 30 years of experience in medicine and I usually have to read these articles several times to make sure I understand them.
RT @NWSPortland: You heard it right, temps are going to rise this Thur & Fri. The most likely scenario is that temps will be around 95-100° in the Willamette Valley, with the highest temps experienced on Fri (what this image shows). The coast & Cascades will be cooler, but still warm. #ORwx #WAwx https://t.co/iE20ZMKpvR
I hate sharing crap from the toxic man baby as Leah indicates here, but honestly, what Biles did with her actions is stronger than anything I've seen within the world of sports despite what this @$$clown thinks of her.
RT @nadia_nadim: A poor performance has absolutely nothing to do with ”Mental Health Issues”. People with mental health issues struggle every second of the day, just to Survive. Think about that before you trying to catch points online on behalf of people that may really struggle. https://t.co/1DSc8ALVWw
Proud of Bella for sharing her thoughts as I thought it created some positive & needed dialogue. FWIW, I don't think she needs to apologize for anything, but I appreciate her willingness to acknowledge some of the reaction & learn from the situation.
1/ Would like to circle back and offer my apologies for coming to Twitter to vent and for the sole purpose of feeling validated in a moment of vulnerability. This wasn’t the place to come to to solve the problem. Quite frankly, I didn’t think people would care this much.
Smarmy rich guy says cancelling student loans won't work, and provides flimsy defense of his point. I just know that getting rid of significant debt will allow people to spend money elsewhere.
