“Fiasco” is among the words that come to mind.
Story with @benjstrauss on changes at MASN and the Nationals' pointed response: https://t.co/fqK0CPAxzx
RT @MarkZuckerman: Byron and I have known each other for nearly two decades but truly became friends the last five years working together. He's become an important and unique voice on the Nats beat. I'm certain we haven't heard the last of him and can't wait to share the press box with him again. https://t.co/SVl6rvBa6t
RT @ThomasBoswellWP: When the world returns to normal, and it will, MASN/Nats will have hard time finding a trio as good as Dan Kolko, Bo Porter & Alex Chappell for pre-and-post-game shows & interviews. I learn from Bo, who's clubhouse connected, Alex is good and somebody smart will grab Kolko FAST.
Ugh. This sucks, as does MASN’s ongoing nonsense.
Incredible few years covering the @Nationals for MASN. 2019 was filled with so many special moments & memories 💍🏆 Thankful for my time & most thankful for the people. #Nats fans are the best fans! ❤️ https://t.co/N0ODi7VIbS

The on-air folks get much of the recognition and have been the focus of much of today's news from MASN...
That said, plenty of producers and behind-the-scenes folks are affected by these decisions too. John Harvey (behind Kolko in this picture) produced Nats Xtra for years

As the poor labor relations continue in baseball, I've heard a lot of worried rank-and-file staff and players asking: Who is looking out for the game?
RT @JessicaCamerato: In the latest edition of the Daily Bases video series, the latest on Ryan Zimmerman, Cade Cavalli and Starlin Castro. #Nationals https://t.co/AEyiufuI69
🙏
Alex did a great job. So did @masnKolko and @Boporter16Bo MASN’s cost-saving call to cut 3 pros and their coverage of a terrific team is very disappointing.

All the best in what’s next, Byron.
Friday Jan. 22 was my last day writing for MASN. Thank you to all for reading my work the last 12 years. Thank you to #Nats for being so gracious with their time. I loved unearthing the intricacies of baseball and it’s personalities. I am looking forward to the next adventure!
Boo to this.

Some explanations about the MASN situation from @benjstrauss and @dougherty_jesse. The Nats, it seems, aren't happy with the axing of pre- and postgame hosts, analysts, including @masnKolko. Understandable.

RT @dcsportsbog: “To say that we are incredibly disappointed and upset by MASN’s decisions would be a gross understatement.” https://t.co/5KUJvabx5b

Byron Kerr, a long-time MASN writer alongside @MarkZuckerman, announces that he will no longer be working for the site. Byron did a lot of in-depth coverage of the Nationals' minor league system.
